Come out to Tessa Farm to Fork on Battleground Avenue this week in Greensboro to get your fill of student grown microgreens from Greensboro Day School.

They’ll be available Tuesday, February 7th through Sunday February 12th (or while supplies last).

These greens come courtesy of the Classroom to Food Market Pipeline (CFMP) setup between Greensboro Day School and Tessa Farm to Fork.

Entire Cone ES 4th Grade builds CFMP with Tessa Farm to Fork

On Monday, February 6th, the 75 students that make up the 4th Grade Class of Cone Elementary helped build Portable Gardens as part of their Classroom to Food Market Pipeline (CFMP) with Tessa Farm to Fork on Battleground Avenue in Greensboro.

Cone Elementary’s first harvest will be available at Tessa’s on Tuesday, February 21st through 26th (while supplies last).  Mark your calendars to come out and support Cone Elementary students.

On Monday, January 30th, students at Sugarloaf Elementary in Hendersonville, NC harvested their Portable Gardens and bagged the greens for pickup by the Interfaith Assistance Ministry’s Food Pantry.

On Monday, January 23rd, middle school students at Greensboro Day School spent the day learning about how to build Portable Gardens to grow and harvest microgreens as part of their Classroom to Food Market Pipeline (CFMP) with Tessa Farm to Fork.

Greensboro Day will have their first batch of greens available at Tessa February 7th-12th.

Ragsdale receives award for their CFPP from the Gift of Giving Grant

In November, Ragsdale High School became one of 15 schools in Guilford County to be selected for the Gift of Giving Grant sponsored by Four Seasons Town Center.

To share their successful Classroom to Food Pantry Pipeline (CFPP) with Parkwood Baptist’s Hand to Hand Food Pantry, funded in part by the grant, Ragsdale put together a table display for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day event held on Monday, January 16th at Four Seasons Town Center Mall.
