The judging panel for our Saturday, March 22nd 2:00-4:30pm Jobs Course event at Glenwood Library has been finalized.  It will consist of:

PUBLIC (FREE) EVENT – On Saturday, March 22nd, teenagers at Glenwood Library from 2-4:30pm will be taking part in ReBuildUp’s Jobs Course that has them play Economy, Jr., an Economic Literacy game, and Pitch Drill, a fast paced business plan and pitching contest.

Judges for the Pitch Drill part of the event will be Jerome Gray, Executive Director of Greensboro Community Development Fund, the East Market Street Development Corporation, Phil Barnhill, Director of Operations of East Market Street Development Corporation, and Lisa Goble, PhD of UNCG’s Office of Innovation Commercialization.

By completing both games, players will be eligible to enter their own business concepts to the Cashless Incubator for review by area businesses in hopes of landing internships, jobs, or resources for their startup idea.

Greensboro Municipal Federal Credit Union, Building Lifelong  relationships one Member at a Time, is sponsoring the event with Shift, the Nussbaum Center’s startup group, providing assistance.
