#SummerfieldGreens students end school year growing basil

Students at Summerfield Elementary spent the spring growing Tendergreens and will now close out the school year by growing Basil using Bottle Growers.

Noble Academy begins growing greens for Tessa Farm to Fork

On Tuesday, January 3rd, students at Noble Academy kicked off the first day of school building their Portable Garden bins as part of their Classroom to Food Market Pipeline (CFMP) with program sponsor Tessa Farm to Fork.

Students plan to have all bins setup by the end of the week with their first harvest and delivery of microgreens scheduled for Tuesday, January 17th.

Come out to Tessa on the evening of Tuesday, Jan. 17th and Wednesday, Jan. 18th to get your fill of these student grown greens.

Noble Academy sets up CFMP with Tessa Farm to Fork

tessa-noble-partner-logo-285Starting in January 2017, students at Noble Academy will begin growing and harvesting greens to be served during the 3rd week of each month at Tessa Farm to Fork on Battleground Ave in Greensboro.  This is part of Tessa’s newly launched Classroom to Food Market Pipeline (CFMP) with area schools.
