VIDEO: Jobs Course @ Forsyth Central Library May 3rd Sponsored by Summit Credit Union



PUBLIC (FREE) EVENT
– On Saturday, May 3rd, teenagers at Forsyth Central Library from 1-3:30pm will be taking part in ReBuildUp’s Jobs Course that has them play Economy, Jr., an Economic Literacy game, and Pitch Drill, a fast paced business plan and pitching contest.

By completing both games, players will be eligible to enter their own business concepts to the Cashless Incubator for review by area businesses in hopes of landing internships, jobs, or resources for their startup idea.  Participants of the Jobs Course will not have to pay the minimal signup fee to enter the Cashless Incubator for six months thanks to a generous donation by Summit Credit Union.

Summit Credit Union is sponsoring the event with VentuRealization providing help with organizing volunteers.

If you have a teenager that can benefit from economic and entrepreneur literacy along with having an opportunity at an internship, job, or resources for their own startups through the Cashless Incubator, please come out for the event at:

Greensboro Library to hold 9 ReBuildUp events

city_G_Library_logo_apr_2010_349The Greensboro Public Library system has plans to hold a series of Economy, Jr.’s and Jobs Courses (Economy, Jr plus Pitch Drill) between March and August 2014 at their area branches.

These are the dates and times for the nine events:

Glenwood Library – Saturday, March 22nd @ 2-4:30pm
Jobs Course (Economy, Jr. plus Pitch Drill)
