Invest Collegiate Middle wins the 2018-19 Spring Season Food Growing League Championship

Charlotte’s Invest Collegiate Middle took the top spot with a 4-0 record to win both their Conference B Title and the overallĀ Food Growing League Spring Season Championship with the tallest basil plants.

Hendersonville’s Sugarloaf Elementary won the Conference A Title and Pleasant Garden Elementary received first place for both the number of plants sold at 45 and most money raised with $200 going towards their school’s technology fund.

Congratulations again to the winners and special thanks to all the students and especially the teachers who made this season possible.

We’ll see everyone again for the Fall Season October through January when schools will be vying for the best microgreen harvest by weight.
