The first round of the Spring Season is all about basil with 8 schools across North Carolina vying for the tallest crop and the most Customer Surveys in the Bonus Round. Watch the video or click on the Podcast player above to hear audio of the competition if you’re unable to view the video.

Schools participating this Spring  Food Growing League include Sugarloaf (Hendersonville), Cone (Greensboro), Pleasant Garden (Pleasant Garden), and Stokesdale (Stokesdale) Elementaries in the BSLA Conference and Leesville Road (Raleigh) & Invest Collegiate (Charlotte) Middle Schools along with Eastern Wayne High (Goldsboro) and Ayden-Grifton (Ayden) High in the BLSB Conference.
