On Wednesday evening, November 16th, Ragsdale High School joined 14 other schools in Guilford County to receive a “Gift of Giving” grant sponsored by Four Seasons Town Centre. The grant is made in partnership with Guilford County Schools’ (GCS) Character Development Initiative to fund programs that promote student service-learning.

Part of the Ragsdale’s grant money will go toward adding five more Portable Gardens to its existing Classroom to Food Pantry Pipeline (CFPP) to benefit Parkwood Baptist Church’s Hand to Hand Food Pantry.

In mid-January 2017, a :30 second video of this project in action will be shown by GCS and local media.
