Economy, Jr. was demo’d for the first time for North Carolina Teachers on Thursday, August 7th at the 5th Annual Jumpstart Convention in Charlotte, NC put on by the North Carolina Council on Economic Education (NCCEE).  Thanks for putting on a great convention!  Here are the pictures:

Providence Baptist Church is sponsoring in addition to providing the volunteers for this event.

We had a packed private event with about 35 participants for the Economy, Jr. held on behalf of Greensboro YWCA’s yWorld program at Jackson Middle School on Thursday, May 29th.

PRIVATE EVENT – On Thursday, May 29th, participants of the yWorld after school  program created by the Greensboro YWCA will be playing “Economy, Jr.” where players play as a customer spending a month’s paycheck from their chosen career on necessities such as housing, groceries, child care, and more without going bankrupt.  This event will be held after school at Jackson Middle School in Greensboro, NC.

PRIVATE EVENT – On Tuesday, May 20th, participants of the “Be Good To Yourself” Teen Mentor program at Step Up Ministries will be playing “Pitch Drill” a fast paced introduction to business plans and pitching by having them develop and present a profitable solution for a specific problem before a panel of volunteer judges.
