Emerywood Baptist’s Food Pantry just a few miles from the school will be the recipient of WCDS’s monthly harvest throughout the 2016-2017 school year.
On Friday, October 7th, Ragsdale High School’s Science & Visualization students began setup for the 2016-2017 Classroom to Food Pantry Pipeline to benefit Parkwood Baptist Church’s Hand to Hand Food Pantry.
Sponsored by Sonya R. Hamilton of State Farm, this marks the 2nd year of the CFPP at Ragsdale High where the program was first piloted in the winter of 2016. This year it’s been expanded from one to two of the “SciVis” classes. The monthly harvesting data will be used in the statistics portion of the curriculum.
Due to a short school day on Friday, the rest of the bins will be setup this week.
