Tomorrow on Wednesday, June 4th from 6-7pm at the Nussbaum Center will be Shift‘s monthly meeting (always the first Wednesday of the Month). Noah participated in ReBuildUp’s Jobs Course at Noble Academy this year and his startup will be taking part in Greensboro Partnership’s Triad Startup Lab 2014 which is a Greensboro based business accelerator for promising new businesses.
Shift is the entrepreneur group for the Nussbaum Center and regular volunteer organizer for ReBuildUp events. Shift meets regularly at the Nussbaum Center located on 1451 South Elm-Eugene Street near downtown Greensboro.

The private Economy, Jr. event scheduled for Tuesday, March 4th at Noble Academy was postponed due to incremental weather. The new event date is Monday, March 17th.

PUBLIC (FREE) EVENT – On Saturday, March 8th from 1:00-2:30pm, Deep Roots Market will be hosting “Pitch Drill,” a fast paced introduction to business plans and pitching by having you develop and present a profitable solution for a specific problem before a panel of volunteer judges.

Here’s your chance to get creative and stand out in the crowd. First, second, and third place winners will be profiled in the May issue of Natural Triad Magazine. Who knows, your idea might turn into something big!
The judges will be made up of influential members of the Triad’s health and small business community. Needless to say, the topic picked by the judges will have something to do with the organic industry.
