March’s Round 2 of the Food Growing League Spring Season starts off in BSLA Conference with Stokesdale Elementary competing with Pleasant Garden Elementary and Match 2 with Sugarloaf Elementary up against Cone Elementary. In BSLB Conference, Invest Collegiate Middle takes on Ayden Grifton High and Leesville Road Middle vs. Eastern Wayne High. Watch video above for the results.

The first round of the Spring Season is all about basil with 8 schools across North Carolina vying for the tallest crop and the most Customer Surveys in the Bonus Round. Schools participating this Spring Food Growing League include Sugarloaf (Hendersonville), Cone (Greensboro), Pleasant Garden (Pleasant Garden), and Stokesdale (Stokesdale) Elementaries in the BSLA Conference and Leesville Road (Raleigh) & Invest Collegiate (Charlotte) Middle Schools along with Eastern Wayne High (Goldsboro) and Ayden-Grifton (Ayden) High in the BLSB Conference.
March 1st marks our 5th year in operation. You can help us grow this year by purchasing your own custom direct-to-garment t-shirt.
We’ve spent the last five years trying out a lot of ideas and the result is our Food Growing League. We’re hoping to test out a new League this Spring and any additional funds help speed up the process.
