4/11: ReBuildUp @ Elon University School of Law’s Leadership Academy

Thank you to Elon University’s School of Law for allowing ReBuildUp to lead the Leadership Academy session on growing small business and entrepreneurship.

The Saturday, April 11th, 2015 day long event at Elon University’s Downtown Greensboro campus featured undergrad college leaders from six area colleges going over issues facing Greensboro to provide their own fresh ideas.  The annual Leadership Academy is part of Elon’s Leadership Fellows Program.

PUBLIC EVENT – On Thursday, July 10th from 1-3pm, participants of the Kids Poetry Basketball program at Bryan YMCA in Downtown Greensboro will be playing “Economy, Jr.” where players gain insight into both sides of the economic coin by having them choose at the start of the game whether they want to play as a customer spending a month’s paycheck from their chosen career on necessities such as housing, groceries, child care, and more or as a merchant running a business needing to make enough sales to cover this month’s overhead.

MEETING: Bow Times @ Shift Monthly Meeting 6/4

Shift is the entrepreneur group for the Nussbaum Center and regular volunteer organizer for ReBuildUp events.  Shift meets  regularly at the Nussbaum Center located on 1451 South Elm-Eugene Street near downtown Greensboro.
